Macintosh Portable

Here’s a photo of the Macintosh Portable that I bought at the Vintage Computer Festival in Mountain View California. It’s the predecessor to the Powerbook. It weighs around 9Kg with the case, which became a real drag when I had carry it on six plane flights. Customs officers in the US and Mexico were rather suspicious of it, and didn’t have much of a sense of humour..
